Located on the left side of the road to the Open Market Serikin the Sarawak-Kalimantan border , 4 km from the town of Bau towered Fire and Rescue Station also houses small Fire and Rescue Academy Malaysia , Sarawak .

Fire and Rescue Academy Malaysia Sarawak ( ABPMS ) , formerly known as Sarawak Regional Fire Training Center was first established in the State in October 1982 at the Fire Station Padungan Road , Kuching .

Following the development and needs of the Fire and Rescue Department , both in terms of tactics or ABPMS technology has experienced a move to some place for adaptation to the requirements above, namely Kota Samarahan and then at Batu Lintang . Then in early March of 2010 ABPMS again moved , this time to small fire station , about 50 km from city center .
