History FRAM

Built in 1972 on an area of 12 acres, the Fire Training Center, Kuala Kubu Bharu was built with the infrastructure of an office block, boarding house, wire field and several simulators.

In 1997, the Fire Training Center, Kuala Kubu Bharu was renamed to the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Academy (ABPM), Kuala Kubu Bharu.

As of 2010, ABPM Kuala Kubu Bharu has 90 employees led by PPjB Nor Hisham bin Mohammad as Commander.

In line with the new restructuring of the Department, ABPM Kuala Kubu Bharu is a course site for Senior Officers, government and private agencies and Malaysia Technical Coperation Program.
