In general, this research center, which is divided into three main divisions;

  • General / Private Program Division (External)

The Personnel Management (Internal) Division is divided into two units:

  • UBBL Unit / Plan Research Course
  • Permit Unit Course
  • Course Fire Prevention Unit

While the Public / Private program (External) is divided into two units:

  • Factory / Industrial Unit Course
  • Basic Fire Safety Unit (General / Private) Course

  • Implement training on Departmental staff, civil service personnel, government and private agencies as well as civilians in fire safety (Service Directive Chapter 8, Section 2 (a), (b) and (c).
  • Plan and implement fire training for fire safety officers (Industry and Commercial) on the Fire Services Act 1988; Section 62 (1) (c).
  • Planning and implementing training in firefighting services, Fire and Rescue Assistant Superintendent in fire safety based on 1986 Training Policy Services Scheme and New Remuneration System 1992 and PSD Memorandum 63/138 KH.1 (15) 1004.
  • Ensure learning related to Reviewing, researching and applying fire recommendations and reviewing and validating plans submitted to the Fire and Rescue Department as in the Uniform Building By-Law 1984, UBBL 245 (2).

  • Enhancing staff knowledge and skills in fire safety aspects as well as awareness and awareness of fire hazards.
  • Provide knowledge and improve efficiency to Department personnel in terms of awareness of fire safety and precautionary measures are practiced in accordance with the Uniform Building By-Laws (UBBL 1984) or related laws.
  • Giving awareness on the responsibility to reduce the risk of fire and minimize fire losses through learning culture.
  • Improve the knowledge and skills of civil servants, private companies, statutory bodies and the public in terms of fire safety as well as provide awareness and knowledge regarding fire hazards.
  • Provide knowledge and improve staff efficiency in the aspects of inspection, testing and handling of fire system installations.

The Fire Safety School of Fire and Rescue Academy Malaysia Kuala Kubu Bharu was created due to recent changes in line with the previous name change. With the existence of the Fire Safety School, it is expected to assist the Fire Officer in performing its duties and responsibilities efficiently and professionally in accordance with the mission and vision of the Department.
