Secondary Fire Investigation Course

INTRODUCTION

Secondary Fire Investigation course module is designed as a guide in conducting courses for firefighters, especiallythe Fire Investigation Officer (FIO) in a professional fire-fighting dutiesAlong with the rapid development in Malaysiato achieve Vision 2020, the department should not be left out in order to improve the quality and service quality. Thisis in line with the requirements of the department in order to achieve the vision and mission of Towards A fire and rescue organization is World ClassWith the birth of the FIO are trained and competent to perform the duties of fire investigationfire investigation responsibilities expected in Malaysia will be borne by the JBPM fire comparableinstitutions in developed countries.

 

PURPOSE

  • Provide guidance in conducting Secondary Fire Investigation
  • Knowledge of fire investigation more specific detail for all FIO JBPM .



OBJECTIVES
Several objectives have been designed to achieve the required targets in providing knowledge and understanding of the need to learn the course Secondary Fire Investigation: -

  • Improving the skills and knowledge among the FIO through theoretical and practical methods to enable them to perform the duties of fire investigation efficiently and effectively .
  • Specifically to provide an understanding of all the FIO on a subject of fire investigation .
  • Learn the rules more systematically.
  • Develop an attitude of teamwork while performing their duties and responsibilities .


QUALIFICATION COURSE PARTICIPANTS
 
This course is specifically designed for Fire Investigation Officer JBPM only.
 

METHODS COURSE

This course will be conducted using a number of methods involving theoretical , practical and simulation techniques are using lectures , discussions, group work movement , question and answer , or test papers and case studies. Methods courses for this are :

  • Theory 40 %
  • Practical - 30 %
  • Test / Paper - 30 %


LONG COURSE
 
Implementation of the course is for 10 days and all participants must follow the course until the end.
